We ran Sudan through the platform and published a structured conflict record
The Sudan Conversation Report (Edition 01) coded 1,179 events from three months of public posts in English, Arabic, and French. It separates narrative grammar from impact-based attribution and measures the Framing Gap: how far the story of violence sits from where the harm lands. Built on the same feed you would query.
The Framing Gap
Narrative named civilians as targets in 18% of violence; the impact reading put civilian exposure at 71%.
Unnamed civilian harm
Share of civilian-directed violence whose own framing never names civilians as its object.
Events coded
Three months machine-read into structured, dated conflict events across X, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Reddit.
Published by Social Knowing, our independent research journal. Figures from the Sudan Conversation Report (Edition 01) derive from the Socialhose Public API and are frozen at publication; the live Sudan Watch board carries the current reading.
